March! I was in the high school when I first found your music, and I will be graduating from the university pretty much soon. Indeed time does fly, doesn't it? Are you working on some kind of project, Toshiya (my apologies if I ever sound drab)? I will be so delighted if I can listen to your new piece.
Have you had any chance to read some verses by Sir Philip Sidney? He is a medieval English poet who wrote a load of literary works. In his sonnet no. 1 of "Astrophil and Stella," he writes how hard it is to compose a verse. He is tormented, so he reads other poets' words in order to get some inspiration; yet alas! the words just do not come out! At the end, his love gives him the answer: "look in thy heart and write."
Personally, I think music and literature are much more a same thing by their natures.
I hope you enjoy the dazzling weather of this coming spring, and "look in thy heart and compose" (chuckles!)!
Cheers,
your fan
